In class, we started with a bellringer. For the bellringer we had to define argument, ethos, pathos, logos, and claim. After we came back from lunch, we did this worksheet on about the stuff we did for the bellringer.
Today in class, we did work out the book. We wrote sentences with the vocabulary words. After that, we had to right a paragraph using 5 vocabulary words.
Today in class we discussed clustering. Before lunch, we did a body paragraph practice to get a better understanding. I also had to take the Langston Hughes test that I missed.
Today in class we started with a bellringer. We went over the approach of writing. We went over the 5 steps of the writing process. We started with the first step which is “clustering”. I’m glad we’re going over this topic because I always have writers block when writing.
Today in class, we went over “I, Too” by Langston Hughes. While reading that prom, we also analyzed the text to get a better understanding. After analyzing and taking notes on that poem. We picked a poem that was in the worksheet, analyzed it, & we answered some questions based on the poem.
I believe that the purpose of life is to be happy and discover new things. All though life can be difficult, have fun and enjoy while you can. Many things can get you down trials and difficulties that get in the way of a vibrant life. But all that begins to fade away when you discover your ultimate purpose in life. The purpose of life is not just to be happy. Happiness is a gift from God. But something happens to us when we believe that happiness is the only purpose in life.

Today in class, we did a bellringer about the short film “The Elevator”. We went too long. We took a pre assessment. For the rest of the class, we chilled.
In my opinion, I think the film is dumb. I also think it shows how some people think. I dislike the whole film. I dislike the film because I feel like the film is dumb. If he was scared of the weight limit, he should’ve just took the stairs. The two themes of the are skinny Vs. overweight and healthy Vs. Unhealthy.
